‘SNOWSHOEING’ IN CORTINA: THE TRAILS OF RA VALLES

This excursion allows you to enjoy the enchanting landscape shrouded in soft, fresh snow surrounded by a unique view.

Take the Tofana cable car (Freccia nel Cielo) that will take you to Ra Valles (you can buy the ticket on the spot or use your Ski Pass for the journey); this will give you access to trails which have been clearly-defined by the cable car staff and allow you to walk safely in your snowshoes (follow the trails keeping to your right).  Here a breath-taking view awaits: Mount Cristallo, Pomagagnon, Croda Rossa, Mount Faloria, Mount Sorapìss and Tofana di Mezzo will accompany you in all their magnificence along the trail.

This trail is not suitable for children; given the altitude and effort required, we strongly advice only physically-fit people to take on this trail. At the end of the Ra Valles ring, which takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to complete, the fittest can continue on to the Anello dei Cacciatori (in English, the Hunter’s ring), adjacent to the Ra Valles and which takes the same amount of time.
