ALPINE SKIING AT THE DIBONA LODGE
An entertaining evening outing for anyone who wants to take on Alpine skiing!
The piste, created by the Snowservice team, is easy and suitable for all: it begins in Cianzopè, 8 km from the centre of Cortina, and can easily be reached by car. At 7pm, put on you head torch, ski boots, skis and seal furs and off you go on an uphill trail traversing flat spaces and steep inclines, across suggestive landscapes made even more magical thanks to the darkness.
The uphill walk is about 50 minutes long and leads you to the Dibona Lodge, almost 2,080 metres above sea level, where you can enjoy an excellent dinner (remember to book in advance if you wish to eat there). Tel: +39 0436 860294
At the end of the dinner, remove your seal furs from your skis, adjust your head torch and off you go, on the 15-minute descent along the slope. (Important: although this trail is suitable for everyone, it is not an officially-approved slope. We therefore recommend paying attention and inform you that your are fully responsible: please read all the details here).

This experience requires little physical effort; however, if you feel unsafe, we recommend enlisting the services of a professional Alpine guide (you can contact the Cortina Alpine Guides on: +39 0436 868505 – info@guidecortina.com). Remember to book one week in advance in order to receive all the necessary information and to secure your guide.
If you feel confident and who wish to go it alone, you simply have to rent the designated excursion kit provided by the Snowservice booking team. Guests staying at the Ambra Cortina Hotel receive a 12% discount on all rental price lists if they book online (by clicking on the button below) and a 10% discount if they book at the shop.
All detailed information, the maps of the itinerary and useful advice on the walking trail and slope will be provided by the Snowservice team upon collecting your material.
