A DINNER BETWEEN CORTINA AND THE STARS
Dine under a breath-taking starry sky at almost 1,800 metres above sea level. Combine an out-of-the-ordinary culinary experience with a full view of the sky above from a truly unique perspective, immersed in the rugged nature of the Dolomites, only a few minutes by cable car from the glamorous atmosphere of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
The “Freccia nel Cielo” Tofana cable car team and the volunteers of the Astronomy Association of Cortina organise an “astro-dinner” every Thursday night at the Col Drusciè refuge, located at 1,178 metres above sea level, which offers one the most enchanting views of the Dolomites.
The culinary star-gazing event takes place both in winter and summer, from July to September and from December to April (booking is always required).

At 7pm, diners meet at the base of the “Freccia nel Cielo – Tofana cable car” which takes you to the Col Drusciè refuge where a fantastic aperitif awaits you on the viewing terrace which offers a breath-taking view of the valley.
Then there’s the dinner in the refuge and, at the end, the experts of Cortinastelle will take you to the nearby Observatory where, with powerful electronic telescopes, you can see the magnificent stars up close which, up to that point, you had gazed at with your naked eye.
